These Paws Don't Touch Drugs

Walcott will celebrate Red Ribbon Week Oct. 23-27.  Red Ribbon Week promotes being Drug-Free for life.  During this week we will have many activities for our students.  We encourage everyone to participate.  Each student who participates on each dress up day will receive a prize.

The theme for each day will be as follows:

MONDAY, OCT. 23 - "Lei Off Drugs" - Wear your Hawaiian shirt and/or lei!

TUESDAY, OCT. 24 - "Don't Let Drugs Mix You Up" - Wear mismatched clothing!

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 25 - "Classroom Color War" - Each class will dress head to toe in the color assigned to your class:

  • Pre-K - orange
  • Kindergarten - pink
  • 1st Grade - navy blue
  • 2nd Grade - yellow
  • 3rd Grade - green
  • 4th Grade - maroon
  • 5th Grade - purple
  • 6th Grade - black

THURSDAY, OCT. 26 - "Be All You Can Be" - Wear CAMO clothing.

FRIDAY, OCT. 27 - "Say Boo to Drugs" - Costume Day

 

Carnival will be 10:00-11:00.  All students will need to bring their own candy bag to the carnival to put their candy and prizes in.

Oct  12 - Picture Day!  Please send correct change with your child.

Oct. 16 - PTO Fundraiser is DUE!  Turn it into your child's teacher.

Oct. 19 - Field Trip to Palo Duro.

Oct. 27 - Fall Festival
